Poor Spence, he's had a rough go lately. He looks like he's been tackled by a whole football team, or a least something big and gnarly. But alas, he's taken tumbles off the couch and the bed - and inconveniently landed on debris - (i.e. a big plastic bowl, and some sort of toy truck.) I know, I know, you're probably thinking it's all just a clever alibi for my violent tendencies - but I swear, I don't beat this one... :) He's the innocent child... he he. So far anyway. But really, I know that I've not given very much play to my sweet 9 month-old Spencer on the blog. I've been waiting for him to stand up on his own for about 10 seconds, and me to digitally capture it for the post; he's THIS close to doing it on demand, (imagine me making the gesture of putting my thumb and forefinger mere centimeters apart.) But, he's still being a little choosy about when and where he wants to accomplish this task. So for now, I'll just defend myself by saying this: Spence really is super special to me, even though I don't have many pics of him on the blog. He has an amazing spirit and is just always pleasant and happy. People cannot help loving him - really. When we're at the store, people are like, obsessed with this smiley baby. This picture pretty much covers it - always smiling in spite of potentially painful circumstances, (like his older brother). Such a good kid, and I love him a lot. There will definitely be more to come on my praising dear Spencington Arugula Bajoogula, -fancy nickname, eh?.
